The Flowkeeper valve for the Baracuda G3 pool cleaner is designed to regulate flow rate so that pool pump and cleaner run properly.
Pool pumps produce greater flow than the G3 requires, and the self-adjusting flowkeeper valve provides a by-pass. The flowkeeper must be used in single skimmer pools for the G3 cleaner to run properly.
This self-regulated valve is installed into the skimmer. Simply follow the direction of the arrow on the flowkeeper valve to ensure it's placed in the correct position.
