Your backyard pool is a source of entertainment, relaxation, fitness, and fun. Your pool and yard are the site of tons of summer fun for you and your friends and family. Gone are the days of the inner tube and blow-up raft. Floats today come in all sizes and styles. There are floats for a single person or a whole party. There are theme floats that fit every personality type or which can help release your inner child. Let’s look at a few categories and what they say about you!
Patriotic. If you are proud to be an American or are ex-military, you might want to show it with the float you lounge on. You can float on an American flag, or how about the symbol of our country, the American eagle? There is even floats that look like a president, should you be so inclined while reclining.
Emoji. If you are known for your frequent texting, you may want to stand out with your signature emoji float. There are several emojis available, and, of course, the ever-popular poop emoji.
Junk Food Addict. If this category sounds like you, you have plenty of floats to choose from. You can lounge on a slice of pizza or even a taco! How about a cheeseburger or a fast food order of french fries in the box? How about a box of movie popcorn? Dinner wouldn’t be complete without dessert, so there are plenty of ice cream treats to choose from. You can float around your pool on an ice cream sandwich or an ice cream bar or a popsicle. How about a giant chocolate donut float? If your favorite junk food is candy, you can lounge on a giant gummy bear or a Tootsie Roll.
Health Food Addict. Equal time for the healthy foodie! You can float around your pool on a slice of watermelon or an avocado. In the case of the avocado, the pit can be removed and used as a beach ball. There are cherry floats and strawberry floats. There is a pineapple float and even an eggplant float. Not quite sure why anyone would choose to float on an eggplant, but it exists, so there must be a demand!
Drinkers. There is a float that looks like a bottle of wine, or how about a margarita float? If you want to stay non-alcoholic, there is an Icee drink float. Or you can cut to the chase and get a float that holds actual drinks in your pool. What that says about you is that you know how to throw the best pool party ever!
Bird Watchers. You can float on a Blue Jay or go for the more exotic birds like flamingos, parrots, peacocks, or swans. The flamingo floats come in many sizes to hold one person or several at a time.
Animals lover. There are a ton of animal floats. There is a large cat head float for the cat lady, or you can float on a tiger. There are floats of elephants, giraffes, dogs, gators, llamas, and even a chameleon.
Sea Lover. If you really love the ocean and want to show it, you could float around on a seashell. If it’s the sea creatures you like, how about a giant octopus float or the jellyfish float? There is a starfish float, as well as a sea turtle or, of course, sharks. You can float on the shark or you can get a shark float that looks like you have been eaten!
Fantasy Fan. How about riding on a dragon, or a unicorn? There is a dinosaur float straight out of Jurassic Park, and he’s not a veggiesaurus. Of course, there are all sorts of mermaid floats, from the tails you wear to floats with the mermaid tail lifted vertically out of the water.
Glamour Shot. If you are all about style, how about floating on a pair of ruby red lips or on a spike heel shoe! If you are into jewelry, float on a diamond ring! Lie on a float of beautiful butterfly wings so it looks like they are part of you!
There are so many different types of floats available today that you are sure to find the perfect pool float for you and your family. There are also floats that look like a giant pirate ship for the kids to play in and games like chicken, played while riding on a chicken float!
